Human Resources Specialist – HR Business Partner

About the role

We are seeking a Human Resources Specialist to act as an HR Business Partner, supporting business growth through strategic people initiatives. The role works closely with leaders, managers and stakeholders to ensure HR practices align with organisational objectives and comply with legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement people strategies that support new business pipelines and growth.
• Provide expert HR advice, coaching managers on policies, procedures and employment law.
• Translate corporate and departmental priorities into effective HR solutions.
• Lead HR initiatives across workforce planning, restructuring, talent management, compensation, employee relations, engagement and performance management.
• Support managers with complex cases such as performance, attendance and employee relations issues.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on workforce planning and resource forecasting.
• Participate in change‑management projects and support organisational development.
• Maintain effective relationships with trade unions and contribute to job evaluation panels.
• Promote equality, diversity, inclusion and employee well‑being initiatives.
• Contribute to learning and development programmes as needed.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment legislation and best practices.
• Proven experience handling complex employee‑relations matters.
• Experience in change management and organisational development.
