Human Resources Specialist

About the role

The Regional Human Resources Specialist will oversee daily HR operations for the assigned region, serving as the main point of contact for employee lifecycle events, timekeeping, payroll coordination, and general HR administration.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily attendance, shifts, and leaves; calculate monthly overtime and deductions for payroll processing.
• Consolidate regional payroll variables (bonuses, commissions, deductions) and collaborate with Finance to ensure accurate, timely salary disbursement.
• Lead onboarding and offboarding processes, including gathering new‑hire documentation, conducting HR inductions, and managing exits and final settlements.
• Maintain compliant employee records, draft official letters and contracts, and coordinate visa and residency renewals with the GR/PRO team.
• Address staff inquiries, support regional managers with policy enforcement, and help drive local employee engagement.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist or Personnel Specialist, preferably in logistics, express, or e‑commerce.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Fluent in English and Arabic; Chinese proficiency is a strong plus.
• Solid understanding of local labor laws and social insurance regulations.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data and payroll tracking.
• Experience with HRIS systems.
