Hydraulic Systems Technician

About the role

The Hydraulic Systems Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of hydraulic systems on a wide range of heavy equipment and machinery. The role requires hands‑on work in Dammam, supporting both internal departments and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair hydraulic systems on all makes and models of heavy equipment.
• Overhaul hydraulic pumps and control valves, ensuring proper functioning.
• Disassemble, inspect, and repair hydraulic cylinders, pumps, motors, and valves.
• Read and interpret hydraulic schematics and pressure specifications.
• Troubleshoot basic electrical circuits related to hydraulic controls.
• Perform preventative maintenance on hydraulic components.
• Provide technical support to other departments and customers as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience working with hydraulic systems on heavy equipment.
• Familiarity with control valves, hydraulic pumps, pilot systems, and related components.
• Ability to read and understand hydraulic schematics and pressure charts.
• Basic knowledge of electrical circuits used in hydraulic control systems.
• Experience in preventative maintenance and technical troubleshooting.
