Inbound Logistics Manager – Saudi Arabia

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Inbound Logistics Manager to lead inbound logistics operations for Reef Group in Saudi Arabia. The role ensures timely, cost‑effective receipt of products and materials from local and international suppliers, coordinating closely with procurement, freight forwarders, customs agents and warehouses.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inbound logistics operations and monitor shipments from suppliers through to delivery at warehouses.
• Develop shipping and receiving plans in coordination with procurement, suppliers, and warehouses to meet business requirements.
• Monitor purchase orders, logistics documents and ensure completeness for shipments.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs agents to track local and international shipments and resolve delays.
• Review shipping and import documents such as invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
• Oversee customs clearance processes and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Schedule receiving dates with warehouses and ensure adequate space and resources.
• Validate quantities received against purchase orders and raise discrepancies.
• Analyze root causes of delays, damages and discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor shipping, customs and transportation costs, identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Develop and improve inbound logistics procedures and optimize shipment tracking.
• Coordinate with Quality team for inspections before inventory receipt.
• Evaluate performance of freight forwarders, customs agents and suppliers.
• Prepare periodic reports on shipment status, delays, costs, risks and compliance.
• Manage risks related to inbound shipments and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations.
• Work with Finance on shipping and customs invoices and payments.
• Supervise the inbound logistics team, assign tasks and support performance development.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in inbound logistics or supply chain operations.
