Incoming Quality Engineer, Powertrain

About the role

The Incoming Quality Engineer will lead incoming quality activities for the Powertrain line at Lucid's AMP2 facility in Saudi Arabia. Working closely with suppliers and internal teams, you will protect production lines by ensuring parts meet quality standards before they enter the manufacturing flow.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and continuously improve the Incoming Quality strategy, processes and tools.
• React swiftly to supplier‑related abnormalities, implement containment actions and drive interim solutions.
• Develop inspection methods, work instructions, gauges and test plans to detect potential failures.
• Collaborate with IT to maintain and enhance the incoming quality module in SAP.
• Train and coach the Incoming Quality team on best practices.
• Monitor Statistical Process Control data in SAP and ensure accurate inspection recording.
• Manage supplier claims, charge‑backs and track problem‑solving milestones.
• Support Material Review Board investigations, root‑cause analysis and corrective‑action implementation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supplier quality or incoming quality within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong ability to work cross‑functionally with engineering, supply chain and production teams.
• Excellent analytical mindset with a focus on proactive problem prevention.
