Indirect Tax Manager (Riyadh)

About the role

EY is seeking an experienced Indirect Tax Manager to lead the delivery of VAT and GST advisory services. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them navigate complex tax regulations and optimise their supply chain and financial systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of indirect tax engagements with a professional, practical and commercial approach.
• Manage large VAT implementation teams, coordinating client functional experts and EY consultants.
• Identify market opportunities and develop commercial propositions for new and existing clients.
• Build and maintain tax relationships, advising on the impact of VAT/GST on supply chains, accounting systems and risk areas.
• Provide guidance on international trade tax implications and ensure compliance with customs regulations.

Required profile

• Degree in economics, finance, tax or accounting (or equivalent).
• Relevant professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACA, CMA, CTA, law qualification).
• Minimum 6 years of experience in indirect tax, VAT/GST advisory, preferably within a Big 4 firm.
• Strong teaching and training abilities, excellent advisory and writing skills.
• Analytical, resourceful, able to work under pressure and collaborate effectively.
