About the role

The Inertial Mechanical Engineer will join Si‑Ware Systems in Riyadh to support the design, stress analysis and structural development of high‑precision inertial systems. The position focuses on creating robust housings, mounts and mechanical assemblies for next‑generation IMUs, gyroscopes, accelerometers and integrated navigation solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop 3D CAD models and detailed engineering drawings of compact enclosures, internal chassis and mounting interfaces using Autodesk Inventor or equivalent software.
  • Perform basic stress analysis and Finite Element Analysis to assess structural integrity, deformation and safety factors under dynamic and static loads.
  • Apply heat‑transfer principles and thermal‑management techniques (conductive cooling, heat sinks, thermal interface materials) to maintain sensor stability across operating temperature ranges.
  • Use Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) to ensure precise alignment, conduct tolerance stack‑up analyses and incorporate DFM/DFA considerations for CNC‑machined parts.
  • Support prototyping, laboratory validation and testing of mechanical designs, including verification of stress and thermal models.

Required profile

  • Saudi national (in accordance with local employment regulations).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Engineer membership in the Saudi Council of Engineers (Engineer Grade).
  • Fresh graduate (0–2 years of experience); academic projects or internships in mechanical design are a plus.

Required skills

  • Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling, preferably Autodesk Inventor.
  • Basic knowledge of stress analysis and FEA tools such as ANSYS, ABAQUS or open‑source alternatives.
  • Understanding of GD&T, DFM and DFA principles.
  • Familiarity with CNC machining processes.
  • Knowledge of heat‑transfer and thermal‑management concepts.
