Internal Audit Expert

About the role

The Internal Audit Expert will lead audit activities, ensure corrective actions are implemented on time, and support governance and compliance across the organization. Working autonomously with minor direction, the role bridges audit findings with risk management and internal control frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and manage communication with audit authorities, external auditors, and internal audit bodies.
• Ensure core control notes are reflected in corporate risk registers and contribute to internal control development.
• Provide analysis, reports, and updates to the Audit Committee, Board of Directors, and Executive Management.
• Examine root causes of recurring observations and propose improvements to policies, procedures, and controls.
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate stakeholders to guarantee proper closure.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field (required).
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or equivalent (preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant internal audit experience.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and customer‑focus skills.
• Proven ability to drive change, enforce policies, and deliver results.
