Internal Audit Manager

About the role

The Internal Audit Manager will lead end‑to‑end audit engagements across corporate functions and operations, strengthening governance, risk management and internal controls. This role will drive the transformation of the internal audit function into a data‑driven, advisory service for the Group.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage complete audit engagements, ensuring alignment with the Group audit plan, approved methodology and IIA standards.
• Evaluate internal controls, identify gaps and root causes, and provide practical recommendations.
• Utilise data analytics to enhance audit coverage, detect anomalies and support data‑enabled auditing.
• Monitor audit findings, ensuring timely and sustainable corrective actions.
• Support governance, risk management and integrated assurance initiatives.
• Oversee audits of large‑scale projects and multi‑unit operations.
• Report regularly on audit progress, key findings, recurring issues and emerging risk themes.
• Coach and develop audit team members, ensuring consistent application of audit methodology.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• CIA certification is required; CPA, ACCA, CISA or CMSA are preferred.
• Experience in multi‑sector businesses or Big 4 firms is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of audit execution, governance, risk management and internal controls.
• Excellent analytical, communication, report‑writing and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
