iOS Instructor – Mentor for iOS Development

About the role

The Tech Mentor guides learners through their iOS development journey using Challenge‑Based Learning. You will provide technical mentorship, curriculum support, and hands‑on feedback to help learners become confident Apple ecosystem developers.

Key responsibilities

• Guide learners through iOS projects and technical challenges, supporting development, debugging, testing, and problem‑solving.
• Provide technical feedback and code reviews to improve code quality, engineering practices, and decision‑making.
• Facilitate workshops and coding sessions covering Swift, SwiftUI, SwiftData, testing, debugging, architecture, and Apple technologies.
• Develop and support curriculum aligned with iOS development competencies and learning objectives.
• Offer personalized mentoring using coaching techniques to build independent technical judgment.
• Participate in technical reviews, project evaluations, demos, and events while continuously improving mentoring approaches.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–5 years of hands‑on experience building and shipping iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI, with strong knowledge of SwiftData, software architecture, testing, debugging, and Git.
• Familiarity with the Apple developer ecosystem, including Xcode, TestFlight, App Store guidelines, Apple Human Interface Guidelines, Agile practices, and emerging Apple technologies.
• Strong mentoring, communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
