IT Application Support Administrator I

About the role

The IT Application Support Administrator I is responsible for implementing, configuring, maintaining and supporting HungerStation’s IT applications and systems. The role provides day‑to‑day technical assistance to end users, ensures reliable operation of applications and helps restore services quickly when incidents occur.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for application administration, support and operational requests.
• Install, configure, monitor and maintain IT applications, workstations and internal systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, aiming to restore services at the first point of contact.
• Handle help‑desk tickets via calls, email, chat or in‑person, adhering to SLA commitments.
• Escalate unresolved issues to specialized internal teams and track ticket progress.
• Document incidents, solutions, process workflows and user manuals in the ticketing system.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in IT application support, help‑desk or system administration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering or a related technical field.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to work under pressure while managing multiple requests.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills for interacting with end users and stakeholders.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and improve support processes.
