IT Network Engineer – LAN/WAN Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Network Engineer to design, implement and maintain a reliable, secure and resilient network infrastructure across our offices, branches and operational sites in Saudi Arabia. The role supports business continuity and digital transformation initiatives within a logistics environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and manage LAN/WAN infrastructure across all company locations.
• Install, configure and maintain switches, routers, firewalls and wireless equipment.
• Monitor network availability, performance and capacity, and resolve connectivity issues.
• Implement network security controls, segmentation and VPN connectivity between sites.
• Produce and update network diagrams, configurations and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with telecom providers and technology vendors for service delivery.
• Support network infrastructure projects, new site roll‑outs and disaster‑recovery plans.
• Analyse capacity trends and recommend infrastructure upgrades.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on network engineering experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, routing and switching.
• Experience with Cisco enterprise networking; familiarity with Fortinet, Palo Alto or similar security platforms is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet or Network+ are preferred.
