IT Plant Local Support Engineer – Application

About the role

Join Lenovo's manufacturing plant team in Riyadh as an IT Plant Local Support Engineer. You will be the primary on‑site resource for application support, ensuring reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of critical manufacturing and plant systems while collaborating with local and global teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications used across manufacturing, shop‑floor, supply‑chain, and plant functions.
• Configure application functionality to meet business and technical requirements.
• Monitor performance, investigate incidents, troubleshoot issues, and drive root‑cause resolution.
• Participate in deployments, upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management activities.
• Contribute to operational transformation projects, including requirements analysis, testing, AI tool adoption, and monitoring solutions.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, database, and security teams to ensure application availability and reliability.
• Provide Level 2 support for production environments and maintain documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience supporting enterprise applications in a business environment.
• Experience in manufacturing operations or end‑to‑end supply‑chain environments.
• Knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL, DB2, or Oracle.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and Agile ways of working.
• Experience with IT service management platforms like BMC Remedy, Jira Service Management, or ServiceNow.
