IT Support Officer

About the role

The IT Support Officer will provide first‑line technical assistance to ensure smooth operation of Land Sterling’s IT infrastructure and end‑user systems in Riyadh. You will resolve hardware, software and network issues, support Google Workspace, and contribute to cybersecurity and business continuity initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver timely technical support for hardware, software, and system issues; set up laptops, desktops and workstations for new hires.
• Configure user accounts, email access, file‑server permissions and telephone systems; educate users on IT best practices and security policies.
• Install, upgrade and maintain operating systems, business applications and network connectivity; manage hardware inventory and biometric authentication devices.
• Administer Google Workspace services (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, collaboration tools) and troubleshoot related problems.
• Implement IT security policies, support cybersecurity audits, monitor system security and assist with disaster‑recovery and backup processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, configurations and support activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in first‑line IT support within a corporate environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to minimise downtime.
• Good communication skills to assist and train end‑users.
• Attention to detail for documentation and compliance tasks.

Required skills

• Hardware setup and troubleshooting (PCs, laptops, printers, peripherals).
• Operating system installation and maintenance (Windows, macOS).
• Network infrastructure monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Google Workspace administration (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, collaboration tools).
• Biometric authentication and secure access solutions.
• Data backup, disaster‑recovery procedures and IT security policies.
