Junior Accountant

About the role

The Junior Accountant will support the finance and accounting team by performing core accounting tasks, ensuring accurate and timely financial records for Rentokil Boecker. This position involves handling journal entries, payments, bank reconciliations and inventory counts while adhering to local accounting standards and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Record all journal entries (invoices, payment vouchers, journal vouchers, purchasing) in line with local standards and regional policies.
• Prepare and verify payment documentation, request disbursements and process purchase invoices.
• Perform periodic reconciliations of bank accounts, suppliers, sub‑ledger, accruals and fixed‑asset schedules.
• Examine expense coupons for correctness and compliance.
• Maintain data integrity across Rentokil Boecker systems, forms and reports.
• Prepare daily bank deposit reports and manage physical and electronic archiving.
• Execute physical inventory counts for operations, food safety and marketing stocks and produce discrepancy reports.
• Monitor stock levels and support inventory management.

Required profile

• Saudi national with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or equivalent.
• SOCPA membership is mandatory.
• Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus.
