Key Account Sales Manager – Dammam (Equipment Rental)

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Key Account Sales Manager to lead the development of major equipment rental customers in Dammam and the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on building long‑term relationships with rental companies, identifying equipment purchase and fleet expansion opportunities, and closing high‑value projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, manage and maintain long‑term relationships with major equipment rental customers in Dammam and the Eastern Region.
• Conduct regular on‑site visits and engage business owners, procurement managers, fleet/equipment managers and other decision‑makers.
• Identify new rental company prospects and uncover opportunities for equipment purchases, fleet replacement and expansion.
• Understand customer equipment requirements and design targeted account development plans.
• Recommend suitable construction equipment solutions based on customer needs.
• Manage the full sales cycle from quotation and commercial negotiation to project follow‑up and order closure.
• Increase share of existing key accounts and drive long‑term business volume.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activity and customer purchasing plans to provide market intelligence.
• Track key sales opportunities, project progress and expected order timelines.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and key account development objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of sales experience in construction machinery, heavy equipment or related industries.
• Proven experience in key account management with major equipment rental companies.
• Strong understanding of the equipment rental industry, customer profiles and purchasing processes.
• Existing relationships with major equipment rental companies in Saudi Arabia, especially the Eastern Region, are highly preferred.
• Demonstrated track record of strong sales performance and major project experience.
• Fluent English; Arabic language skills are highly preferred.
