About the role
We are seeking a Laboratory Analyst to support grain quality assurance at our Yanbu branch. The role involves collecting representative grain samples, performing laboratory tests, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
- Collect random, representative grain samples from various points in the supply chain and ensure proper handling to maintain sample integrity.
- Perform grain-specific laboratory tests following SABIL protocols, calibrate equipment, and analyze results against quality standards.
- Document and archive all laboratory analyses, collaborate with the QA team to maintain silo cleanliness, and adhere to chemical safety procedures.
Required profile
- Fresh graduate or up to 3 years of experience, preferably in agriculture or the food industry.
- Bachelor’s or Diploma in biology, chemistry, or a related discipline.
Required skills
- Calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Conducting grain quality tests and data analysis.
- Safe handling and disposal of chemicals in a lab environment.
