Lead Commissioning and Startup Engineer

About the role

The Lead Commissioning and Startup Engineer will support program‑wide testing, commissioning, operations and maintenance, and asset handover for the Riyadh Expo 2030 infrastructure program. This position works on a high‑visibility, mixed‑use legacy development that will serve the community after the Expo.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate testing and commissioning activities across consultants, contractors and regulatory bodies.
• Develop and manage integrated testing schedules, reporting mechanisms and handover documentation.
• Ensure all work complies with safety, quality and budget requirements.
• Lead the transition of assets to operations and maintenance teams.
• Maintain accurate asset data and support final handover to the client.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering commissioning and startup on large infrastructure projects.
• Strong ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated understanding of safety, quality and budget control in complex projects.
