Lead SAP Basis & Security Engineer

About the role

The Lead SAP Basis & Security Engineer is responsible for the administration, security, and governance of SAP landscapes across hybrid cloud and on‑premises environments. You will ensure system stability, secure access, compliance with audit requirements, and seamless integration of SAP S/4HANA, BTP, Ariba, SuccessFactors, and MDG.

Key responsibilities

• Lead SAP Basis administration for S/4HANA and related platforms, including monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Manage transports, system refreshes, upgrades, patches, and kernel updates.
• Oversee SAP security, role design, user provisioning, emergency access, and SoD compliance.
• Configure and support SAP GRC modules (ARA, ARM, EAM, BRM) and lead access certifications.
• Administer SAP BTP subaccounts, IAS/IPS settings, and Work Zone launchpad configuration.
• Secure SAP MDG, Ariba, and SuccessFactors applications and ensure integration with S/4HANA.
• Design and implement SSO solutions using SAML 2.0, OAuth, and IAS/IPS.
• Provide audit evidence, support incident/change/problem management, and maintain technical documentation.

Required profile

• Strong experience in SAP Basis and Security administration.
• Expertise in SAP S/4HANA authorization and role design.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP BTP, GRC, IAS, IPS, and Work Zone.
• Proven ability to manage hybrid SAP environments and ensure compliance.
