Linux & Kubernetes & Backup Administrator

About the role

The Linux & Kubernetes & Backup Administrator will ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our Linux servers, Kubernetes clusters, and Veeam backup infrastructure. You will work closely with development and security teams to keep systems running smoothly and to support disaster‑recovery initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and harden Linux systems, manage patches, and monitor health and logs.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters and container workloads.
• Integrate Kubernetes environments with CI/CD pipelines, SIEM, and centralized logging solutions.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and ensure compliance for both hosts and containers.
• Manage Veeam Backup & Replication, including job configuration, capacity planning, performance tuning, and regular restore testing.
• Support disaster‑recovery planning and validate backup retention policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience with Linux administration, Kubernetes, and backup solutions.
• Strong understanding of security hardening, patch management, and vulnerability remediation.
• Experience working in cloud environments and with CI/CD processes is a plus.
