Logistics Operator – Shipping & Customs Coordination

About the role

As a Logistics Operator at Siemens Energy, you will support the movement of materials and equipment essential for our grid technology projects. You will work closely with internal teams and external freight partners to ensure shipments are planned, documented, and delivered on time while complying with all regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipment activities according to delivery schedules and operational needs.
• Arrange bookings with approved freight forwarders and transportation service providers.
• Track shipment progress and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
• Prepare, collect, and maintain shipping documents and logistics records, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Support customs clearance activities by liaising with customs brokers and internal departments.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Warehouse, Production, and Project teams to guarantee material availability.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, shipping, warehouse operations, or related supply‑chain functions.
• Familiarity with shipping documentation and customs clearance processes.
• Strong organizational, coordination, and communication skills.
