Senior Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Senior Procurement Specialist will manage the end‑to‑end procurement lifecycle, develop sourcing strategies and negotiate contracts with technology suppliers. This role collaborates closely with IT, Finance and Operations to ensure optimal supplier performance and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement lifecycle from purchase requisition to contract closure.
• Develop and execute sourcing and procurement strategies.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs) with suppliers.
• Manage relationships with technology vendors (software, hardware, cloud services).
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (IT, Finance, Operations) to define requirements.
• Evaluate supplier proposals and conduct market analysis.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual terms.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and governance standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of procurement experience, preferably within the technology or IT sector.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience working with technology vendors and service providers.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
• Professional certifications such as CIPS or CPSM are a plus.
