Maintenance Engineer

About the role

MEMF Power Transformer is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to lead preventive and corrective maintenance for its production machinery and transformer manufacturing equipment. The role involves troubleshooting electrical, mechanical and control system issues to ensure continuous, reliable operation of the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities for production machinery and factory equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, and control system issues.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify potential failures before they impact production.
• Support maintenance activities for transformer manufacturing and testing equipment.
• Coordinate with production and engineering teams to minimize equipment downtime.
• Maintain maintenance records, reports, and equipment history.
• Analyze recurring equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and maintenance standards.
• Manage maintenance spare parts and coordinate with suppliers and service providers.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and productivity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial/manufacturing maintenance.
• Experience in transformer manufacturing or heavy electrical equipment is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance systems.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Good troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis skills.
• Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
• Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance reporting systems.
