Maintenance Foreman – Construction Site

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Maintenance Foreman to lead the maintenance team on an active construction site in Riyadh. The role involves overseeing generators, pumps, heavy equipment and ensuring equipment reliability while minimizing downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the generator fleet (FG Wilson, Caterpillar and similar), maintain fuel logs and perform troubleshooting.
• Manage maintenance and breakdown support for excavators, cranes, forklifts, JCBs, road sweepers and air compressors.
• Supervise day and night shift crews, assign daily priorities and ensure work meets consistent standards.
• Maintain maintenance logbooks, track meter hours and control spare‑parts inventory.
• Apply site safety procedures, including permit‑to‑work and lockout/tagout, and act as primary contact for subcontractors and suppliers.

Required profile

• Trade certificate or diploma in mechanical, electrical or diesel/heavy‑equipment maintenance.
• 5–10 years of hands‑on maintenance experience in construction or industrial settings, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Willingness to work rotating day and night shifts.
• Valid Saudi driving licence preferred; transferable iqama for expatriates.

Required skills

• Diesel generator systems maintenance (FG Wilson, Caterpillar, etc.).
• Heavy‑equipment maintenance (CAT, Komatsu, Volvo, JCB, etc.).
• Pumps and air‑compressor servicing.
• Mechanical diagnostics and preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Permit‑to‑work and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Inventory management using Excel.
