Maintenance Manager

About the role

The Maintenance Manager will act as the strategic lead for all maintenance activities, ensuring that production equipment and support facilities such as HVAC, boilers, and CO2 systems operate at peak efficiency. This role combines technical leadership, budget responsibility, and continuous‑improvement initiatives to meet ambitious production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage departmental budgets covering staffing, spare parts, and major equipment overhauls.
• Design, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance programs to keep all site assets at the highest standards.
• Lead, coach, and develop a technical team, fostering a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and technical mastery.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and drive process‑improvement projects to reduce downtime and boost productivity.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and all relevant statutory requirements across facilities.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
• 5–7 years of plant maintenance or engineering management experience, preferably in the beverage, bottling, or FMCG sector.
• Fluent in English and Arabic with strong analytical, project‑management, and communication abilities.
• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and technical documentation.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office and advanced Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems, specifically SAP PM module.
• Capability to read and understand engineering blueprints and facility layouts.
