Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor will lead airport maintenance operations, ensuring all facilities, equipment and infrastructure remain in optimal condition. This role coordinates maintenance activities, supervises staff, and guarantees compliance with safety and regulatory standards within a fast‑paced airport environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor weekly and monthly generator schedules and the status of Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS).
• Oversee testing and maintenance of mechanical systems such as water treatment, sewage, conveyor belts, elevators, escalators, fire‑fighting and gas detection systems.
• Respond to power outages, water supply interruptions and other maintenance‑related disruptions affecting air transport operations.
• Ensure availability of specialized tools and testing equipment for electrical and electronic systems.
• Conduct regular audits, inspections and compliance checks against approved standards.
• Supervise airport facility maintenance work and develop cleaning schedules and plans.
• Maintain inventories of cleaning supplies, chemicals, equipment and consumables, and implement preventive maintenance for cleaning equipment.
• Prepare monthly reports on consumable supplies and inspect newly installed systems.
• Assess spare‑parts storage conditions in maintenance warehouses and manage critical spare‑part inventories.
• Coordinate work permits for corrective, renovation or construction activities, gathering required documentation and liaising with contractors and airport departments.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising maintenance teams in a large‑scale facility or airport environment.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and ability to enforce compliance.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage schedules, inventories and work permits.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders including security, air traffic control and contractors.
