Manager – BCG Vantage, Center for Public Economics

About the role

As a Manager in BCG Vantage within the Center for Public Economics, you will join an international team of economists, data scientists and subject‑matter experts. The role is client‑facing and focuses on macro‑economic analysis for public‑sector clients on topics such as fiscal policy, trade, infrastructure, AI, climate and industrial strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality macro‑economic analyses using input‑output, CGE and econometric techniques.
• Translate technical results into concise written insights for senior stakeholders.
• Contribute to proposals, workshops and client cases, including occasional on‑site travel.
• Support commercialization of BCG Vantage assets and provide thought partnership on proposals.
• Lead development of intellectual property, tools and frameworks for the practice.
• Mentor junior colleagues and guide them in sector‑specific expertise.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering macro‑economic analysis for public‑sector projects.
• Ability to distill complex technical findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Strong communication skills with senior stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel as needed for client engagements.
