Manual Quality Assurance Engineer – Remote (SIMBA Team)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Manual Quality Assurance Engineer to join the SIMBA Team, supporting cutting‑edge AI voice technology used worldwide. This fully remote position offers the chance to work closely with engineering, product, and support teams to ensure high‑quality, reliable user experiences for web‑based and audio‑driven products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive manual test plans, test cases, and regression suites.
• Perform hands‑on manual testing across multiple browsers, devices, and user scenarios.
• Identify, reproduce, isolate, and document software defects with clear steps and evidence.
• Maintain QA documentation such as test reports, release validation summaries, and defect logs.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand‑ups, backlog grooming, retrospectives).
• Prioritize issues with product, engineering, and support teams based on user impact.
• Conduct regression and release validation testing to ensure product stability.
• Continuously propose improvements to QA workflows and testing efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of manual QA testing experience, especially with web‑based applications.
• Strong understanding of QA fundamentals: test planning, exploratory testing, regression testing, defect reporting, and test case design.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving abilities.
