Material Handling Officer

About the role

The Material Handling Officer is responsible for managing the movement, storage, and documentation of inventory within Salehiya's warehouse network. This role ensures that all inbound and outbound shipments are processed accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with customs clearance to prepare warehouse space for incoming shipments.
• Verify completeness of shipment documents and flag any discrepancies.
• Execute segregation, put‑away, and proper storage of temperature‑sensitive products.
• Maintain compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and Good Storage Practice (GSP) protocols.
• Prepare daily reports on deliveries, Goods Receiving Notes, returns, and discrepancies.
• Manage stock integrity by reconciling system records with physical inventory.
• Handle returns, expiries, and customer collections, ensuring proper documentation.
• Apply corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) as directed by operations.

Required profile

• Experience in warehouse or material handling operations.
• Familiarity with customs clearance processes.
• Understanding of GDP and GSP regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work with temperature‑sensitive and regulated products.
• Strong attention to detail and record‑keeping skills.
