Mechanical Engineer – HVAC & MEP Design

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our design and consultancy team in Riyadh. The role focuses on HVAC and MEP design for cafés, restaurants, retail outlets, and hospitality projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop HVAC, ventilation, and mechanical systems for retail, F&B, and hospitality projects.
• Prepare mechanical layouts, shop drawings, and technical documentation using AutoCAD and related software.
• Coordinate with architectural, electrical, and interior design teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Perform HVAC load calculations, duct sizing, equipment selection, and MEP coordination.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and client requirements for accuracy and compliance.
• Support project teams during design development, execution, and site coordination stages.
• Participate in technical meetings, site visits, and resolve design‑related issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in HVAC and MEP design, preferably in F&B, retail, hospitality or commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of local codes, standards, and construction practices.
• Excellent communication, coordination and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
