About the role
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer / Centrifugal Compressor Specialist to join our team on a short‑term contract in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on pre‑commissioning activities for a centrifugal compressor, including installation, alignment and flushing tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Install Dry Gas Seal (DGS) on the compressor.
- Perform shaft alignment to ensure proper rotor positioning.
- Conduct lube oil flushing procedures.
- Carry out mechanical pre‑commissioning activities.
- Support the customer during preparation and commissioning of the centrifugal compressor.
Required profile
- Strong experience working on centrifugal compressors.
- Previous experience with DGS installation.
- Proven ability to perform shaft alignment.
- Experience with lube oil flushing.
- Background in pre‑commissioning/commissioning within oil & gas or petrochemical environments.
- Capability to work independently on customer equipment.
