Mechanical Foreman

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Foreman to lead daily mechanical works on our construction sites. Reporting to the Mechanical Site Engineer, you will ensure installations are carried out safely, on schedule and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily mechanical installation activities, including HVAC, plumbing, fire‑fighting, piping and related equipment.
• Allocate tasks to technicians, skilled workers and labourers, monitor manpower utilisation and progress against the approved schedule.
• Inspect work areas to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, method statements and quality requirements.
• Report daily progress, manpower deployment, material needs and site issues to the Mechanical Site Engineer.
• Ensure availability and proper use of materials, tools, equipment and consumables, and verify that received materials meet specifications.
• Assist in inspections, testing, balancing and commissioning of mechanical systems.
• Enforce site safety regulations, conduct toolbox talks and maintain housekeeping standards.
• Support quality control activities, manage non‑conformities and coordinate with subcontractors to maintain uninterrupted workflow.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising mechanical installations on construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and safe work practices.
• Effective communication skills for reporting and coordination with engineers and trades.
