Mechanical Site Engineer

About the role

The Mechanical Site Engineer will lead the execution of all mechanical works on our luxury villa and commercial projects. You will ensure that installations, testing and commissioning are performed in line with approved drawings, specifications, codes and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise installation of HVAC, plumbing, fire‑fighting, piping and related equipment.
• Verify that work follows approved drawings, method statements and project specifications.
• Monitor daily progress, manage subcontractors and coordinate with electrical and civil teams to avoid clashes.
• Review mechanical drawings, shop drawings and material submittals; ensure correct quantities and materials are on site.
• Conduct site inspections, enforce quality control procedures and inspection test plans (ITPs).
• Assist in testing, balancing, commissioning and documentation of mechanical systems.
• Maintain safety compliance, HSE procedures and report non‑conformities.
• Support BIM coordination and prepare progress reports, as‑built drawings and O&M documentation.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical Technology or a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in mechanical site execution (HVAC, plumbing, fire‑fighting, MEP).
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, installation techniques and relevant codes (ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA).
