Mechanical Technician – PET Line Maintenance

About the role

The Mechanical Technician will maintain and troubleshoot the PET production line at the Almanhal Water Factory, ensuring smooth and continuous operations of the plant’s critical equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on the PET line and associated equipment.
• Read and interpret manuals, blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to guide assembly and repairs.
• Respond quickly to service requests, diagnose faults, and execute repairs using appropriate testing tools.
• Repair, install, and replace hydraulic and pneumatic components, including pumps, compressors, and chillers.
• Conduct shaft and motor alignment, and calibrate hydraulic/pneumatic assemblies.
• Execute root‑cause analysis using BDA and GSTD techniques.
• Replace critical spare parts on SIDEL and Krones blow‑molding machines.

Required profile

• Mechanical Diploma.
• Minimum 3 years of experience on PET line maintenance, preventive maintenance, and root‑cause analysis.
