MEP BIM Lead – Riyadh

About the role

Join Buro Happold's Buildings team in Riyadh as an MEP BIM Lead, shaping the digital delivery of complex, high‑performance and sustainable building‑services projects. You will lead and embed effective BIM processes across MEP design delivery, working closely with project BIM leads, engineers and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, set up, implement and manage MEP BIM delivery on complex building projects.
• Establish and maintain MEP BIM workflows in line with BIM Execution Plans, client requirements and Buro Happold standards.
• Support review of tender and project BIM requirements, including Exchange Information Requirements and Level of Information Need.
• Contribute discipline‑specific information to BIM Execution Plans and Task Information Delivery Plans.
• Develop and implement MEP BIM templates, standards, content libraries and automated workflows.
• Set up and maintain discipline Revit models, configure worksets, links, shared coordinates and publishing sets.
• Lead MEP coordination, clash‑detection and issue‑resolution using Navisworks and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Conduct routine model‑health and information‑quality reviews to ensure compliance with standards and project milestones.
• Provide technical support, training and mentorship to engineers, BIM technicians and junior team members.

Required profile

• Degree, diploma or equivalent qualification in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Architectural Technology, BIM or a related discipline.
• Significant experience leading MEP BIM delivery for building‑services projects within a design consultancy or multidisciplinary environment.
• Advanced expertise in Autodesk Revit for MEP/MEPF design, documentation and coordination.
• Strong working knowledge of Navisworks Manage, including federated model review and clash‑test management.
