About the role
Element is seeking a Metallurgy Technician to support both laboratory and field metallurgical operations in Saudi Arabia. The role involves conducting routine mechanical and metallurgical tests, ensuring compliance with international standards, and delivering accurate reports.
Key responsibilities
- Perform mechanical tests such as tensile, bend, Charpy impact, hardness and CTOD.
- Carry out metallurgical examinations including micro- and macro-structure analysis.
- Conduct site and field testing as required.
- Maintain compliance with ISO 17025 laboratory standards.
- Coordinate with the technical team to follow the planned testing schedule.
Required profile
- Degree or diploma in Metallurgy or a related discipline.
- 2‑4 years of experience in a metallurgy testing laboratory.
- Strong knowledge of international standards and codes.
- Excellent report‑writing and communication abilities.
- Self‑motivated team player with good organisational skills.
Required skills
- Tensile, bend, Charpy impact and hardness testing.
- CTOD testing.
- Micro‑ and macro‑structure examination.
- ISO 17025 compliance.
