Night Auditor – Hotel Finance & Guest Services

About the role

The Night Auditor ensures the hotel's financial integrity during the overnight shift while delivering high‑quality service to guests. This position blends accounting duties with front‑desk responsibilities, guaranteeing smooth operations when the hotel is closed to daytime staff.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct night audits of room revenue, food & beverage sales, and other income sources.
• Verify, reconcile, and record daily financial transactions accurately.
• Handle guest check‑ins, check‑outs, reservations, phone calls, and special requests during the night shift.
• Generate and distribute audit reports covering revenue, occupancy, and overall financial performance.
• Manage cash transactions, reconcile cash drawers, and maintain secure cash handling procedures.
• Assist the front‑desk team, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support internal or external audits.
• Respond to emergencies, maintain a safe environment, and communicate incidents to the head of finance.
