Offshore Structural Designer

About the role

Saipem is seeking an Offshore Structural Designer to join the Asset Based Services Business Line within the Offshore Structural Engineering department. You will support the structural design of jackets and topsides for major energy projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare project structural drawings under the supervision of the Lead Designer, ensuring accuracy, clarity and compliance with project standards.
• Perform 3D modeling activities, developing and updating models to support design and engineering teams.
• Interface with Project Specialists and other Designers to share information and maintain consistency across disciplines.
• Contribute to the preparation and organization of project deliverables such as drawings, material take‑offs and 3D models.
• Apply company procedures, industry standards and safety requirements to all drafting and modeling activities.
• Support design reviews by providing updated drawings, models and documentation, and implementing comments and revisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a technical diploma.
• Preferably 1‑2 years of experience in offshore engineering.
• Fluent English language skills.
