Oncology / Chemotherapy Pharmacist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Oncology / Chemotherapy Pharmacist to join our Oncology Services team in Riyadh. The role involves ensuring safe and accurate delivery of chemotherapy treatments while supporting multidisciplinary care.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify chemotherapy prescriptions for accuracy, appropriate dosing, and compliance with oncology protocols.
• Prepare and compound chemotherapy medications following hazardous drug handling standards.
• Dispense oncology medications safely, adhering to medication safety regulations.
• Identify and resolve medication‑related issues such as drug interactions and dosing concerns.
• Collaborate with oncologists, nurses and other healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to quality‑improvement and accreditation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Valid SCFHS registration and professional classification.
• Minimum two years recent experience in oncology pharmacy or chemotherapy preparation.
• Strong knowledge of chemotherapy protocols and hazardous medication handling.
• Excellent communication, organisational and teamwork abilities.
• Current residence in Saudi Arabia preferred; immediate availability is an advantage.
