Operations Manager, FC Operations

About the role

Amazon’s worldwide operations network moves millions of packages daily. As an Operations Manager in a fulfillment center, you will lead a mixed salaried and hourly team, ensuring safety, quality, attendance and performance while meeting customer delivery expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Support, mentor and motivate a diverse workforce of salaried and hourly associates.
• Lead large‑scale projects that have site and regional impact.
• Develop and execute productivity plans through forecast reviews and capacity planning.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity and on‑time customer delivery commitments.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance and HR to create business‑aligned plans.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 49 lb and frequent pushing, pulling, squatting, bending and reaching.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or at least 2 years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Experience with performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques (1 + year preferred).
