Operator III

About the role

The Operator III is responsible for executing operational field activities safely and efficiently to support product manufacturing to specification. The role involves routine production support, start‑up/shut‑down operations, and participation in maintenance and reliability tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Support receipt and preparation of feedstocks for process units.
• Perform routine field activities to meet production targets.
• Execute operations during start‑up, shut‑down and process upsets to minimise plant disruption.
• Assist with equipment preparation and maintenance execution.
• Carry out simple maintenance and repair tasks under supervision.
• Ensure compliance with SASREF safety, HSE, and cybersecurity policies.

Required profile

• Diploma in Chemical Engineering Technology or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to work in a restricted area with shift schedules.

• Basic maintenance and repair techniques.

• Cybersecurity awareness and adherence to security procedures.
