Paint Mix Room Technician – Automotive Paint Shop

About the role

The Paint Mix Room Technician supports daily operations in the automotive paint shop, handling chemicals preparation, paint and sealer controls, and ensuring production targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain equipment in the paint mix room, robot cells, and sealers to guarantee proper process parameters.
• Prepare materials according to the Process Control Plan and manage daily consumption.
• Monitor physical and chemical specifications of materials and coordinate corrective actions with stakeholders.
• Conduct dirt control analysis to identify sources of contamination affecting paint quality.
• Perform predictive maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities focusing on quality, cost, and environmental impact.
• Apply 5S and safety rules within the assigned area.

Required profile

• Technical High School diploma or higher (Chemistry, Mechanics, Electrical, Mechatronics or related field).
• Minimum 2 years experience in an automotive paint shop process team, including dirt control analysis.
