Plastic Surgeon Consultant / Senior Registrar

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Plastic Surgeon to join our surgical team as a Consultant / Senior Registrar. The successful candidate will provide expert consultations, perform a broad range of reconstructive and aesthetic procedures, and ensure high‑quality patient care throughout the surgical pathway.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations, review medical histories, and assess treatment needs.
• Recommend and explain surgical and non‑surgical options, including risks and benefits.
• Perform a wide variety of plastic, reconstructive, and cosmetic surgeries for trauma, burns, birth defects, and aesthetic improvements.
• Prepare patients for surgery, ensure adherence to pre‑operative protocols, and prescribe appropriate antibiotics and pain‑management medication.
• Provide comprehensive post‑operative care, patient education, and schedule follow‑up appointments for monitoring and suture removal.
• Maintain accurate medical records and comply with clinical policies and standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience post‑MD (or equivalent qualification).
• Licensed as a Consultant in the home country and eligible for or holding SCFHS classification.
• Proven expertise in both reconstructive and cosmetic procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, surgical precision, and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and patient‑management skills.
