Plumbing Technician – Guest Services

About the role

The Plumbing Technician provides on‑site maintenance and repair services for guest rooms and hotel facilities in Madinah. You will respond to guest requests, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure all plumbing, mechanical and related systems operate safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests and communicate resolutions.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical room assets, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues such as clogged drains and toilet malfunctions.
• Identify and operate shut‑off valves for equipment and building utilities.
• Maintain inventory, requisition parts and supplies, and document daily activities for shift hand‑over.
• Carry out minor painting, drywall, wood‑trim repairs, and replace light bulbs and A/C filters.
• Use lockout/tagout procedures before any maintenance work.
• Repair interior and exterior landscaping, including sprinkler systems.
• Program televisions, update HVAC schedules, and perform general housekeeping inventory duties.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of air‑conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic controls, carpentry and general building systems.
• Ability to follow safety, security and company policies, including use of personal protective equipment.
• Physical capability to lift, carry or move objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
