Pool Technician

About the role

Join the hospitality team on Ummahat Island as a Pool Technician, providing prompt and professional maintenance services for guest pools. You will ensure a safe, clean, and enjoyable swimming environment while delivering the high‑standard service expected by Marriott guests.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and resolve pool‑related maintenance issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance on pool equipment, tools and machinery, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment and pool systems for wear or damage.
• Identify, locate and operate shut‑off valves for pool and related equipment.
• Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and requisition parts as needed.
• Record unfinished calls and hand over information before shift changes.
• Follow all company safety, security and environmental policies.
• Provide courteous service to guests, including assistance for individuals with disabilities.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school education.
• At least 2 years of experience in pool or facilities maintenance.
• No supervisory experience required.

Required skills

• Preventative maintenance of pool equipment.
• Equipment inspection and tool lubrication.
• Operation of shut‑off valves and basic plumbing knowledge.
