Pre-Sales Engineer (Data Center Solutions)

About the role

The Pre‑Sales Engineer will support the sales team by providing technical expertise on data‑center site preparation solutions, designing proposals, and guiding customers through proof‑of‑concepts.

Key responsibilities

• Act as subject‑matter expert in design of Data Center site preparation products and services.
• Develop and implement account‑penetration strategies together with the sales team.
• Create product and service accounts and sales plans for Data Center solutions.
• Qualify opportunities, present solution proposals, high‑level designs and demonstrations.
• Run and manage proof‑of‑concepts (POC) and respond to requests for proposals (RFP).
• Build and maintain strong relationships with partners and customers.
• Lead technical sales calls and complete pre‑sales documentation quickly and accurately.
• Develop training content and support Ivanti partners and customers.
• Handle after‑hours support queries during assigned rotations and escalate when needed.
• Utilise Salesforce.com CRM for lead, opportunity and deal registration management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Understanding of Uptime Institute Tier certification.
• Knowledge of TIA requirements for Data Center solutions.
