Principal Cathodic Protection Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Principal Cathodic Protection Engineer to lead the design and implementation of CP systems across oil & gas, refinery, offshore, mining and petrochemical projects. The role involves delivering high‑quality engineering deliverables from FEED through detailed design, ensuring compliance with Saudi Aramco, SABIC and Maaden standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop CP system designs for pipelines, tanks, well casings and underground metallic equipment.
• Prepare CP design drawings, specifications, SOW, TBE, TBC, MR and NMR documents.
• Lead multidisciplinary coordination, manage schedule, change management and deliver project execution plans.
• Chair technical meetings with third parties and resolve technical issues.
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers, conduct training and ensure quality of deliverables.
• Participate in pre‑design kick‑off meetings and present CP design approaches to clients.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in cathodic protection design for oil & gas, refinery, offshore and petrochemical facilities.
• Proven ability to manage medium‑sized interdisciplinary teams (10‑50 members).
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Aramco, SABIC and Maaden CP standards.
• Experience with FEED and detailed design phases, schedule planning and change management.
