Principal Engineer – Enterprise Observability & AIOps

About the role

The role leads the strategy, architecture, and evolution of enterprise observability, monitoring, and AIOps capabilities across technology platforms. It is responsible for building scalable monitoring frameworks, improving service reliability, and driving intelligent automation to proactively resolve technology issues.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead the enterprise observability strategy across infrastructure, platforms, applications, and cloud environments.
• Establish monitoring standards, governance frameworks, and operating models aligned with organizational objectives.
• Design, develop, and optimize enterprise monitoring and observability platforms, ensuring scalability, resilience, and security.
• Define and monitor service level indicators (SLIs), service level objectives (SLOs), and operational performance metrics.
• Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for AIOps adoption, leveraging AI and machine learning for automation.
• Lead the creation of dashboards, operational analytics, and executive reporting to transform monitoring data into actionable insights.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead strategy, architecture, and advancement of observability and AIOps initiatives.
• Experience establishing monitoring standards, governance frameworks, and operating models.
• Track record of improving service reliability, resilience, and availability.
