Process Engineer – Engineer III (PDH)

About the role

We are looking for a Process Engineer (Engineer III) to join our plant in Jubail. The role focuses on monitoring, optimizing and expanding petrochemical processes such as propane dehydrogenation and ethylene cracking.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical input and support to plant operations, preparing heat‑ and material‑balance scenarios.
• Evaluate existing processes and proposed design changes, considering environmental and economic impacts.
• Collaborate with process chemists and control engineers to maximise output and efficiency.
• Design and implement scale‑up or scale‑down modifications, including equipment redesign.
• Participate in design, installation and commissioning of new projects, troubleshooting as needed.
• Develop and run process simulation models for plant expansion or reconfiguration studies.
• Conduct risk assessments, manage cost and schedule constraints, and produce process documentation and operating instructions.
• Analyse production data to optimise rates, improve quality and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in petrochemical process engineering.
• Business‑level proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
