Process Safety Engineer

About the role

Tasnee is seeking a Process Safety Engineer to join its Loss Control team in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on developing and implementing safety processes, ensuring a safe operating environment, and fostering a strong safety culture across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Review process‑related hazards and propose interventions to ensure safe operations.
• Incorporate safety standards into operating procedures, engineering, and maintenance activities.
• Conduct detailed risk analyses for operational, maintenance, and new‑project activities and recommend control measures.
• Provide safety guidelines for design, construction, and modification of engineering systems.
• Inspect sites, monitor accident‑prone areas, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Investigate minor incidents independently and support major incident investigations, including root‑cause analysis and reporting.
• Assist in developing safety awareness and training programs for employees.
• Coach colleagues, share technical expertise, and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental procedures.

Required profile

• Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in process safety, loss control, or industrial safety within a manufacturing or petrochemical environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risks and propose effective mitigation measures.
• Excellent communication skills for briefing teams and preparing investigation reports.
